If you don't have a full version of Kontakt, I'd probably buy that first before you go for a whole virtual guitar collection. Fortunately for me, from my experience on this forum, guys were always able to help me out even when I wrote a mess of a post If needed I can try rephrasing my question. Or does owning complete bundle give vastly more options and versatility when trying to get the desired sound out of a library (and thus make up for paying extra)? Possibly with external amp/effect plugins, which I will likely need to get along the way in any case. I am wondering whether Stratus and Jupiter can cover much of what, for example, Hydra and Serpent also offer. Please excuse me for not being able to find a good way to phrase the question. With Shreddage 3 bundle I get the complete series for less than double the price. With Rock Band bundle I will get guitars which should get me going and give me plenty to figure out and learn for quite some time to come. Having no experience with Shreddage 3, I would like to ask for your opinion on owning few of the libraries vs. It so happens that there are 2 great deals on Shreddage 3 bundles up right now: I am a beginner and have no experience using guitar libraries.īut I sure know my ideas for orchestral/metal songs will need one (or few?).Īfter some research I figured Shreddage 3 series should do the job for me. I've been looking for an electric guitar library.
